Our Vision

“Seek the peace of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the LORD for it; for in its peace you shall have peace.”
Jeremiah 29:7
“I Have A Dream” is the name given to the public speech that Rev. Martin Luther King delivered at the Lincoln Memorial on August 28, 1963 where he expressed his wish to see a future of racial justice and an integrated society where blacks, whites and all ethnic groups would have equal rights and live together without discrimination whether sectarian or doctrinal.
Now another dream has been realized as the Municipality allocated a land for the construction of the Evangelical Episcopal Church in the Northern District of the Holy Lands. Hence, Tarshiha became the first town to receive such a privilege. This shows that Tarshiha is a town where all people coexist in love and tolerance without any discrimination. I am truly proud of this town where God has chosen me to minister to Him and minister to everyone in it without exception.
This is the fruit of the prayers that we offered at every Mass, service and meeting when we prayed for the welfare of this town, as it is written in Jeremiah 29:7 “Seek the peace of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the LORD for it; for in its peace you shall have peace.'
Our dream began in 2001 when a Christian sister invited us to start a home group. Today, after these long years, the first Evangelical Episcopal Church will be built in the furthest Northern District, namely in Tarshiha. Indeed God makes miracles, as it is written: “Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases.” (Psalm 115: 3)
“We pray for you Tarshiha- that God blesses you from His High Heaven!” And we thank all those who participated in allocating the land for the construction of the Evangelicals Episcopal Church, particularly Mr. Shlomo Buhbut, the Mayor, and Mr. Ayman Shanati, the Deputy Mayor, as well as all members of the municipality and all the leaders of this town.
I offer my due respect to you Tarshiha and to your people.
We pray to God to bless this project that is charged to us and to complete the construction of the church and hall so that they serve the people in this town. Also we seek the support of generous givers and donors as they participate in this project and give generously for the construction of the church, each according to his ability, even by prayers. And we thank in advance each person who is ready to give non-material offerings to complete this project.
"The God of heaven will give us success; therefore we his servants will arise and build” (Nehemiah 2:20 )
